He has over 35 years of experience in investment banking, specialising in energy, infrastructure, and resources projects, primarily in emerging markets, and is recognised as one of the leading project finance bankers in Africa.

From 2004-5 he was Managing Director and Head of Global Markets for Deutsche Bank South Africa and CEO of Deutsche Bank AG Johannesburg branch, overseeing business development across the remainder of sub-Saharan Africa.

DEEPAK DAVE
Director
Deepak grew up in Mombasa, and is currently based near Toronto with long stints in Johannesburg, London and Nairobi over the years. His first degree was from McGill University followed by a Masters from London.

He has 25 years of experience in the financial industry working on Corporate, Project and Structured finance for Banks, Development Institutions and Private Capital across the world. After 2016, Deepak returned to the African market as a Non-Executive Director at African Risk Capacity Limited, Chief Risk Officer at Africa Trade Insurance (ATIDI), Senior Advisor to TDB Bank and interim CIO for AfDB’s Facility for Energy Inclusion (FEI).
Deepak has experience of extractive, sustainable and structured resource financing across mining, energy and related infrastructure including ports, rail, road, storage and shipping or transmission. This was all gained through roles at Barclays, EDC Canada, and GE Capital.

NTLAI MOSIAH
Director
Ntlai brings more than 15 years of experience in investment banking and coverage focused on SA power and infrastructure projects for the largest commercial bank by assets in Africa.
Ntlai holds a B.Sc. (Electrical) Engineering from University of the Witwatersrand, a Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering also from WITS, and completed the non-certificated Deloitte Executive Development Programme at GIBS (University of Pretoria). He brings more than 15 years of experience in investment banking and coverage focused on SA power and infrastructure projects for the largest commercial bank by assets in Africa. As Partner at Deloitte for several years Ntlai led the team serving Government departments and State-Owned Enterprise in South Africa before joining Standard Bank as Corporate Finance executive in 2008.
From 2009-13 Ntlai was Head of Power & Infrastructure Advisory SA, for Standard Bank CIB, where he led project financial advisory, debt and equity raising for clients prior to heading coverage from 2013-2017. Notable clients include Eskom, Transnet, SAA, Rand Water, TCTA and CIG. In this role he also engaged extensively with regional Power utilities in the SAPP including NamPower, Eskom in SA, ZPC in Zimbabwe, EDM in Mozambique, ZESCO in Zambia, EEP in Ethiopia and CEC in Zambia.

Chiluba brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services, both in developed and developing markets, focusing on tech and M&A. He is a Chartered Accountant, qualifying with PriceWaterhouse in London, and holds a degree in Computing Science from Imperial College London.

Subsequently, he led M&A at MTN Group during the most expansive phase in the history of this mobile business, deploying over $10 billion in less than three years to expand the footprint from five markets in Africa to more than 20 covering Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
